Make Contact: Contact us with the basic idea of what you would like to accomplish. This is a good time to let us know the overall dimensions as well as some idea on what kind of budget you have to work with. Make sure to include all of your contact information in your initial contact.



The Proposal: We will draw up a proposal for your project that includes all of the details and terms and will email it to you, usually within 24 hours of you making contact.


Review Our Proposal: Take a look at our proposal, and if it seems like a good fit then sign off and fax it back to us, or email your approval. This is when you will also pay the deposit (which is typically 50% down, the exact terms for your project will be clearly written out on your project proposal.)


The Design Begins: We now start the design process based on the provided dimensions. If your project is local, we will do an on-site evaluation and take final measurements. We will create a one of a kind, original design for your project, and email you a to-scale rendering of what your final project will look like when executed.

Final Approval: After reviewing our final design and you give us your approval and we have received payment of deposit, we begin production on your project.


Production: This is the stage where we start the production of your project. We typically post process photos of your project as it goes through the stages of being made on our Facebook Business Page. Our customers really love seeing their signage projects coming together. Most of our custom hand painted signs take 2 to 3 weeks from approval to completion. Small scale projects can take a week or less. We will tell you the expected time frame in our proposal based upon the scope of your project as well as our current work load.



Delivery: This is the stage where the remaining payments will need to be made prior to delivery.
Depending on your project and your location we will do one of the following:

  • We will deliver your sign
  • We will install your sign on site
  • You can pick up your sign in our studio
  • We will ship you your sign and send you tracking information (if being shipped, we will email you a finished photo of the sign prior to shipping)


Hours:

Starr Studios is open Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm, weekends are spent with family and friends.

Turnaround Time:

Because every hand painted project is individually crafted and to allow for enough drying time with our paints, our hand painted projects require a minimum of two weeks from estimate approval to shipping date. Please allow approximately 2 weeks for all cut vinyl, digital and decorative window film projects as well. Dimensional signage projects can take considerably longer depending on materials used and complexity of design.

Some projects may require more time depending on the complexity and size. Please allow for this in your project scheduling.

Pricing:

All of our design services and signage projects are quoted by project.

Payment:

Starr Studios requires a 50% deposit on all signage projects totaling more than $500 prior to production. Projects totaling less than $500 require prepayment in full. Balance is due on all projects upon completion of project, prior to shipping, as described within the project specifications.

Shipping:

Packaging and shipping are extra. Printed media shipped directly from our printers will have shipping costs included in our project estimate.

Permits:

All signage permits are the responsibility of the customer.

Warranties:

Starr Studios does hereby warrant and guarantee all labor and material incorporated into the project by Starr Studios and its subcontractors. Starr Studios guarantees all contracted items purchased to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of substantial completion.

Starr Studios will repair or replace, to the satisfaction of the Owner, any and all work which may prove to be defective within warranty period.

This Warranty-Guarantee is limited to defects in workmanship and materials for the period stated above and does not include defects and deterioration due to normal wear and tear, abuse, neglect or lack of maintenance. This warranty is void upon modification of any project after completion by Starr Studios.
